i hereby confess... i did it!
the usual fights and you end up completely engrossed into your smart phone... Even you know that you can't do much about bringing the situation back to normal...Even if its her mistake...She will never accept it...For her you will remain the harbinger of bad mood and colloquially speaking 'dimaag ko traaaassss'... Isiliye to kisne kyaa khoob kaha hai..."Ye ishq nahi aasaan bas itna samajh lijiye...ik aag ka dariyaa hai aur doob ke jaana hai"...
So the next thing all of a sudden out of the blue/out of context she asks "Do you tweet?!" And i was like "What?" - Aren't we like fighting fighting over a not so big issue... What happened suddenly... Anyways... Always remember - Whenever its the gals fault she will willingly change the topic #fokatgyaan
Well i had a twitter account which was like the LIC policy document which is lying God knows where untill it matures... my twitter a/c, a namesake, was created when Aishwariya Rai was still fit(2007), Not a fat aunty(2011)...
The conversation ended with me answering in the negative...
That night i actually went and logged into my Twitter account...And since that day i have never looked back.....
Its a different world all together. Not just the celebrities, but even commoners who are like you and me, have set up thier own world...a cosy world with the comforts as they want...A world which they can augment and create and change(delete) as and when they want...
i have managed to meet some characters(no pun intended), who initially were a name/display picture for me...You like somebody's tweets, you follow them...aur sometimes you instinctively decide not to follow someone, even if known in real life... Just to give you a vivid picture...
-a girl who blames the society for whatever happens to her-even if it is something like a fly sitting on her nose;its a conspiracy against her by i don't know who...
-a boy who is intelligently complimenting a chic on her DP, we all know what game is up here...
-a celebrity who is nobody else but a news reader-tweets all news feeds-thanks to him i come to know the current political theatre around us...
-an obsessive female who is SO IN LOVE WITH HER OWNSELF- that a snob will be put to shame...
-another character who keeps shuffling her DPs every 3 hours...
-a bot who replies as and when you type some key word...
amongst all this naatak(drama), where i am a mere spectator on the road, seeing all the tamasha, seeing share of slang, abuses, love, kisses, farts and wat not...ya ya even "LOLs"...
But to tell you frankly somewhere they all have become a part of my life...It feels good when some crack-pot chic is happy to get her new pink shoes or when a celeb tweets about things around us... All because now its all about a 'Known Stranger'...Probably even if i happen to see that person on the street i may not recognize him/her... Follow Follow & Follow
not naming anybody here, but somewhere over a period of time it has all lead to a more involving activity for me, than i thought...
so you can sum this up by saying - "confessions of a twitter-holic"

Speechless
a poem which came to me as a part of my course curriculum in school... At that time it meant to learn it and recite it to secure marks out of 10. So without any real understanding, i parroted the poem and probably scored decent marks... Today after almost 15 yrs i realise this poem is so so true and relevant to me and people around me...more so now when i have started working...running from pillar to post for getting a job done...Monday to Friday...every year... Yes i am talking about William Henry Davies' poem - Leisure... SPEECHLESS!!!
What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this if, full of care,We have no time to stand and stare.
A poor life this if, full of care,We have no time to stand and stare.
noisy city!!!
after long list of friends who ditched me for this movie, i finally made it with an old acquaintance who could empathise with me as she had faced the same...Well thats life, you do not generally get what you desire, but Life manages to surprise you always, that to when you least expect the same...
Now talking about the movie....
Amazing movie from Balaji's stable... Looked as a refurbished shootout at Lokhandwala to me initially, but that was a false assumption... Various facets of the city, or lets call it a sentiment called Mumbai. Mumbai which is not only a land mass, but its the uniquely blended elements it carries with itself....
Whether its a newbie in the town or an investment banker from Singapore or a dabbawaala, each have thier unique contribution to the city... And the city is an immaculate example of what we in youth today count as the most 'in-thing' - MOVE ON...
Yes the city moves on and never looks back... A celebration of victory of the Cricket world cup or mourning for the Japan catastrophe, it does all of it and is the first one to MOVE ON... that too with the grace and elegance of almost as a Royal lady...
The movie, apart from the story and characters, left some different impact and set me thinking on these lines...
Inspite of the noisy and chaotic situations of daily life the city shimmers and is never ever set aback... manages to show-off the queen's necklace it wears backed by the corporate high rise of South Mumbai and reflecting the true spirit of Mumbai in the slums of Dharavi...
Mumbai meri jaan... Whatever we do, think, aspire, ask, get, etc etc - Mumbai is hearing and responds accordingly.... and the best part is - It does not discriminate...It only loves you back...

Open letter to the MANIPULATOR
Dear Manipulator,
This is going to hurt just a little bit!
"Yes it was for you! Do I have to be more blatant to explain that it was for you!!!"
My earlier post 'You are being Manipulated' incited quite a few churning comments and responses - online and offline~ most of them were questions like "Who is this post targeting?!"... I am sure you have my answer by now...
Just thinking post these set events...a large number of readers, including friends and critiques, clearly seemed to have resounded same concerns and comments... Well this may not be an analysis backed by hardcore data or sumptuous evidence, But the fact that each of them have faced manipulation more than once in thier life...either as a manipulator or as manipulated...
I really don't mind criticism, as it is the way we all are created. But lets just face it - WE ALL HAVE BEEN VICTIMS OF THIS. If not for this post, we always knew someone is manipulating our views. Not only that sometimes we readily allow people to come into our lives and let them play with it...So is there another part of the story???
So we are discussing a trivial but unthought of point here, that even when we know somebody is maipulating us, we readily accept it and let her/him play thier dirty tricks on us... what can be a rationalisation given by an average human being for this! Something like
"I did not know, that she was playing games with my mind"
"I loved her so much that it did not matter"
"How does it matter, she gave me what I wanted" and so on...
if we try to read into all of these, they are kind of so called lame excuses for many of us. But what it may mean is that Mr manipulator, i knew your games from day1. And i was actually watching you closely to see what you do next. At several occaisions I almost caught you with your fuck all game plan, but hey i chose to ignore...And why did I do something like that...Coz i was using you as a tissue paper probably, trying to learn a few tricks here and there so that i do not fall prey to such tricks again....So thank you dear manipulator, have learnt a great deal from you.
But hey look now who is the manipulator - You or ME???!
just keep guessing as I started by saying This is going to hurt just a little bit!

You're being manipulated
"A person should not be too honest. Straight trees are cut first in a forest and so is true with honest people" ( in short they are manipulated first) - Chanakya
Some great inspiring and insightful words by the famous Chanakya Pandit who lead Chandragupt maurya's rise as a king backed by sound political principals and ethics...
We're all manipulators and victims of manipulation in different ways... We do it intentionally, or many a times sub-consciously without leaving a trace of evidence... whether it was for a chance for a date with the new girl who joined your class recently or for getting a good job... we all do it all the time without making a fuss around it.
but a fundamental doubt or contention which in such a situation is - isn't this whole thing against morality; or forget morality for the time being; isn't manipulation unethical! for all we know we all are actually playing with some-one's emotions and mental construct...
If you have ever found your self madly in love with someone that did not deserve it ... crying and sobbing but feeling that you cannot break free ... if you have ever found your self doing something that you never really wanted to do ... only to keep doing it more often ... then chances are that you have been manipulated at least once in your life.
the manipulators, if yu ask them, would seldom agree whether they have a methodology behind this...in larger probability they would deny all of this... Or if they are honest with you(which is not true) they will say i don't take conscious efforts in this direction...
well let me tell you they are liers of the first order... A friend shared a link, so called forward, think its on purpose( see a friend trying to manipulate :D) {link attached below}... And when i saw it i realized this is just one such way of manipulation... There are so many others which would qualify for the same criteria...But as they say manipulation is not completely bad... But certainly check out the video... I am sure we all have come across such a person who has done this to us...Once or more number of times... A clear example of how people manipulate...
So now i assume that you have got an indication what is manipulation... the random video above is a testimony to the fact how we use manipulation for our benefit...
But kya karey yaar... i think we all are subject to this kind of manipulation(well not only the way shown is in the video)
now that i have managed to write all of this - DID YOU REALISE... i too have managed to attempt to manipulate your mind with my argument above...Din't you just think about the person who did something like this to you!

a road less treaded...
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same
Robert frost's amazing composition - still quite fresh in my mind - Our English teacher telling the class then to imagine we were standing amidst a fork in the road... And were given an option to walk through, which one would we choose?... At that moment it all seemed a thriftless exercise... Probably i was thinking about my tiffin box...Certainly ignorance was bliss...That was time where you hardly faced such situations...Like max to max it was about choosing between water colours or crayons; or something like bunking classes and playing mario on my new videogame... I am sure they too were herculean in nature at that point in life...
But now if we fast forward it to 2011, i.e. school, college everything is left far behind... this fork in the road has become a recurrent situation. Well what is so unique and new thing which i am sharing with you?...Nothing... But i am sure we all experience this... As one my good friend and critique said... "Don't mind, but your blog sounds flimsy and trivial...There is no concrete thought behind what you write..."
So logically, if i seek feedback, i should try and incorporate it in future... Yes i am doing that by continuing to write and publish in the same manner... yes this is a blog which i have labelled as Notes to Self.. So i do appreciate my friend's feedback... My writing may not attract popular attention and applause...
But i choose to tread the road less traveled!

mirror mirror on the wall
Staring at the mirror...You ask yourself
what am I really looking for
what you see is what you aren't...Rather what you want to be
imperfections and flaws...are all we are made of...
just another nobody pretending to be somebody
but what are you really looking for...
Is it discovery of self... or looking for the changed self...or trying to get back what you are not
Because all you see is the reflection of your own mistakes...
Done by you
offending self, others and much more... there is more to this story...than just a mirror image...
what you pretend to be
or what you are bound to be
as you also know you are nobody...a nobody who for somebody is everybody...
But still wander and wonder...What do I seek in the mirror today!

Curfew on streets >>>>
Go India Go!!!
After Australia we all hope India Hits it hard to Pakistan!!! (and that too below the belt)...
Well any news channel you tune into - everybody is showcasing what Indian cricket team has to do without fail... Almost echoing the sentiment - "World cup nahi laye to chalega, but Pakistan ko harana compulsory hai"
I too as a true Indian resound this sentiment...Even I want to see Pakistan lose...
This is almost a pseudo war under the pretext of gentlemen's game - Cricket!!
Each and every soul on either side of the two countries are praying for victory, because this is almost "Izzat ka sawaal!!!"
Well i need not say about how long has this been going on - The partition of Undivided India lead to germination of this love-hate(read HATE ONLY) relationship... Mountbatten by no means could have imagined that what he and his colleague are creating will give all of us a reason to face this animosity and anti-fraternity feeling for the country on the other side of LOC...
Mentioning about the border, it is worthwhile to mention Mr Cyril Radcliff.
Radcliffe was given the chairmanship of the two boundary committees set up with the passing of the Indian Independence Act. That is in short based on the religious majority of a village he divided the land mass as India and Pakistan...
Radcliffe's report was submitted (the partition map) in August 1947 and Pakistan and India were divided and declared as independent nations...
So today if we are cheering for India, its thanks to Mr Radcliff... He using his mastery of quantitative skills actually ripped apart a portion of India and the consequences are known to all... Millions of refugees were displaced without any support and aid; while thousands lost thier lives to anti-social elements or natural forces...
The Radcliff Line was drawn as below
So all thanks to Mr Radcliff(well not really thank, millions lost lives due to him), we have one more reason to rejoice and bring excitement to our lives in 21st century....But all said and Done... the reality of the whole situation is as it is - We want to WIN... Come what may!!!
Pakistan stands no chance!!!
So GO India Go.... baja de chutki dhul chata de... De Ghumaake

If you plan, you might fail...But if you do not plan you are bound to fail...
Initially i believed in Plan B philosophy... i.e. each and everything needs to have some kind of a back up plan... But now PLAN B so to say lost its place in my head... Strangely so...It was a nice phase...
Just want to leave you all with one thought... Plan B is a compromise and we all accept it, when the desired does not happen/things don't turn out to be as planned...
a sentence which left a great impact on me!... So it was amply clear ki plan to karna padega... be it dating a gal or buying a new mobile phone...
This went on for a long long time... Time changed - people around me changed - I changed - and so did this ideology...
Suddenly I was made to realise the beauty randomness... So the new mantra was
Just be Instinctive...Don't plan at all...Just be yourself and react to situations as they come...
This phase too was very good... drastically different exciting and promising...
Initially i believed in Plan B philosophy... i.e. each and everything needs to have some kind of a back up plan... But now PLAN B so to say lost its place in my head... Strangely so...It was a nice phase...But as they say it too fizzled out soon... Things more or less average out in both the scenarios...
Now that i have been able to see, do and witness both the sides - in retrospect i can clearly see one large learning coming out of all this...
We as human beings cannot behave randomly; we have to have some way out planned in the back of our minds... we think situations, solutions and simultaneously work towards options in case the desired does not happen. we may say that we don't plan and do things randomly/intuitively on the spot... But the truth is that even this is a plan that we pre-decide to behave randomly... We continue our existence on basis of rationally irrational measures...and continue to be this way wherever we go/whatever happens/whomsoever me meet...
Just want to leave you all with one thought... Plan B is a compromise and we all accept it, when the desired does not happen/things don't turn out to be as planned...
Connecting beyond 3G/4G... i.e. Ultimate G!
LIFE KITNI EASY HOTI AGAR HAR SAWAAL KA JAWAAB HOTA HUMARE PAAS...
Ever wondered why do we look for answers... Be it a exam paper...Hunting for a right insurance policy...ascertaining that yes this person is the one who i can spend my life with... will the world end in 2012... There is no end to this list...and i guess we will always be populating the list with every passing moment of our lives... We are obsessed with knowing what lies in future... What way will we shape up/are we prepared so on and so forth... Our quest for the right thing or the correct step ahead will always haunt us to look for these so called answers...
I would like to introduce this book called "Laws of the spirit work - By Korshed Bhavnagri"...
This book aptly had answers to all the macro questions in life... Well it is not a magic book which interactively answers your queries.. but yes a large chunk of the message in the book answers our fundamental questions about living life on earth, its importance, and most importantly the journey of the soul...

Only for the ones who are willing to hear beyond words...ready to understand much beyond logic and science
We as human beings are very very irrational. we like to be rationally irrational. Keeping in mind the pros and cons, positive and negative, good or bad, right or wrong, we cruise our way through this world/situations/people and almost anything...
There is a beautiful terminology in semiotic theory called "homo significans" it means that we as a bunch of beings are "meaning-makers"... we tend to and actually try to make meanings out of anything and everything... a few observations(of myself and my circle of friends)
- Oh look at that girl...she is so good looking(read HOTT)... but is accompanied by a guy..."Wo to uska friend hoga... m sure she is currently single"
{What is happening here lets try and decode... a random(but good looking )chic... accompanied by a guy... they can be related to each other in some way not known to the person above. or all we know they are not related to each other and happen to be walking side-by-side...but this person's(observer) mental processes have already analysed and formed opinion of what could the relationship between the two be...}
we do it all the time... many a times we assume what will the opposite person's reaction be when we say/do something... and even though the opposite person has not actually reacted to anything; we assume his reactions and alter our behavious accordingly... So in essence we have just managed to fool our ownselves... Shouldn't we give a chance to the opposite person's senses/brain to react as he or she wants to...But all thanks to homo-significans we are like this only!
We can derive meaning, analyse reasons and draw conclusions for each and everything around us or that concerns us... This is not strange... its the way we are created... and this happens seamlessly all the time with almost auto-pilot efficiency...
I would suppose this(Homo-significans) is what gave rise to Sir Isaac Newton's discovery of gravity... At the age of 23, while relaxing on his mother's farm, Isaac Newton, by his own account, saw an apple falling from a tree. That simple incident caused him to wonder why apples always tumble down... Homo significans at play - today we all know about earth's gravitational pull...ot what is known as the Newton's law of universal gravitation...
So please do not wonder/ridicule your your brain if it is making some random connections... for all you know all of us have an Isaac waiting in us to reach out with his own version of the theory of gravitation... but hey this time it might be with help of Apple i-phone...
:)
Science is just the beginning... Faith is the journey...Self actualization is the destination!
And when you were just about to give up...the phone rang!
Frustration and disgust can lead one into doing the unimaginable or something which is least expected out of us. Well over a period of time we all come to know what people expect from us/have an image and perception of our construct as a person. We all congeal within ourselves a mental flow chart... or let me not use fundas which i can't explain(read don't know much)...
Let me put it this way... As human beings we are a nothing but a bundle of rational and emotional decisions. Decisions often become difficult and ruptured due to availability of options/choices... When we don't know what to do/how to react to a particular situation, can be lack of choice or not able to make one...
Another important aspect of human mind is, we all have a 'PLAN B'... Plan B as in when we want 'A' to happen, somewhere in our minds we create this plan B... some do it deliberately/meticulously; whereas a large number of people are doing it sub-consciously all the time...
So when things go the way we want we just we just reset the priority of Plan B from our brain... but it is always there... Hasn't this happened with all of us...You require your friends help desperately, and you approach him/her...Somewhere in our minds we also keep a reaction/action plan ready if he or she says no...
I know many people who propagate that "i do things almost instantly... i dont think too much..." Well my idea is not to seek praise / acceptance from all... But it is just that these souls have mastered the art of generating Plan B in a fraction of second, use it / discard it almost instantly over a period of time...
Before you actually ask i will now tell you why did the phone ring!!!
"as things move on... so do pple... just flow with the drift of life and it will not disappoint yu..." Set this as my status message on Gtalk... Had tried my level best to reach out to some-body... but all efforts in vain... So my brain in a way was always operating to move to Plan B(in this case largely relating to misunderstanding my friend)
We as humans are so rationally emotional that we almost behave like hypocrites within our ownselves... So when things are not going as we want... we just typecast the person in question, or even lead in ourselves to believe that "Ye to pehle se popat bana rahi thi... I shouldn't have trusted her at all...Why do i even consider speaking to such careless and heartless souls..." - all this is just the noices within self...
You might be wondering where has the term TRUST gone... Does he not trust her... Well m sorry to shake you all up to reality of our minds...it Doubts and it raises doubts when we least expect it... So i don't blame anybody for thinking like this.,..
But our brain is an amazing thought churning and emotion ransacking machinery that all other softer virtues go for a toss...
And just when i had decided in all the possible ways why she did not receive my calls... The phone rang!!! Tring Tring>>> Signalling my ear lobes... Tell your brain - she has finally called...Tera plan B khadde me daal de ab!?////
SO DON'T GIVE UP SOON... HOLD ON... YA BUT HAVE SELF RESPECT AND 'MOVE ON' when required...

Is route ki sabhi liney vyasta hain...kripya koshish karna band kijiye...
"Look at my men! Their courage hangs by a thread! If this is to be our end, then I would have them make such an end, as to be worthy of remembrance!"
said Theoden to Aragon... Lets proceed to helm's deep...
was watching LOTR for the nth time now... HBO around 23.11hrs-IST a thursday night... Left office relatively early(Kindly note this is rarest of an occurrence in life of an Ad-man{sounds grt but believe me its not adman = chaprasi sometimes}...)so got time to watch TV...and LOTR is like bring it on...Dil maange more... Will write about my passion for LOTR sometime later...let me steer yu back into something completely different...
Bas Theoden was getting ready to fight with Saruman's evil forces and i was battling wid my brother so that i could watch the movie... Managed to somehow win again this time... and was njoying the hot glass of milk(Maa ki Mamta ka daily doze!!!)
And my phone rings... thought may be its one of those frnds(read CHipku) with whom yu like to talk but yaar not now! fir socha may jiska phone aaj kal aana band ho gaya hai uska call hai... Chalo dekh lete hain...
Infact wat happened after that was completely unexpected, unthought and uninvited... My long lost college friend called up to invite me for her engagement over the weekend... i wished her asked her question like kab, kyu, kaha, kaise, kaun, etc the typical xcited friend in me was wanting all the answers(ab tak Theoden ko bhul gaya tha...Probably the elfs had joined Rohan to re-honour the alliances which the men had with elfs ages ago...)
Hung up... And was just thinking... 3 out of 8 such unexpected calls(Long lost frnd; mind you good frnd calling up suddenly to say i m getting engaged) now-a-days turn out to be about some one getting married soon or in near future...
Well wats d big thing or Nayi baat kya hai isme... to be written or discussed about... Actually it is not about badi baat or choti baat...
m trying to find the rationale and logic as to why people use the word "ENGAGED!"
matlab kya soch kar ye word use kiya... Lets try to think...
Went to Oxford dictionary for help: this is what it had to say
Engage: 1.Carry out or participate in an activity; be involved in
2.Consume all of one's attention or time
3.Get caught
4.Engage for service under a term of contract
5.Give in to marriage
Funnily if yu look at the above; assuming marriage context of engagement evolved and was adapted into the dictionary, the others are more to do with an activity, or a job, contract(All agreements are contracts, but all contracts are not agreements) and so on...
The third in the list above illustrates actually, 'Get caught'... Abhi pakde gaye hain to shaadi kar hi lete hain....
Lets not discuss under Service and term for contract
So now yu know that this is not helping>>>
My hypothesis is and unless otherwise proved i consider this in following logic:
Remember the good old MTNL days when probably whenever yu called someone and some aunty(IVRS) said "Is route ki sabhi liney vyasta hain...Kripya thodi der baad dobaara koshish kijiye". Quite irritating at times and you banged the phone receiver "Phone engage aa raha hai...Busy hoga...Kisike sath phone par"(Mind you tab tak Call wait nahi aaya tha)
Or as my nani used to do... Just flip the receiver and keep it on the table so that nobody could disturb her afternoon slumber...Again engage aa raha hai...
So what are people trying to tell others when they say i am getting engaged...
- Mera ho gaya hai finally...Now i am on cloud 9...
- I will be very very busy hence forth...Plz make note
- I am engaged = I am no more available for you...
- Mujhe aaj se phone mat karna (i doubt this... but possible isn't it)
- Listen you had time and chance till today, but since now i am gonna get engaged stop trying...Get a life
- See i told you it won't work with you.... but hey i have found another bakra~workout kar lega jo!
- or the best one ~ when your ex calls up with this reason she is saying - See i deserve someone better... i have found him...F*** u!(not uttered on phone but resounded in polite words)
As a last key sign off... Had it been another word what word could it be... What can we as a civilisation replace the word Engage with...
Some suggestions
~Booked(as in booking ho gayi hai possession on marriage(Male chauvinist in me is doing the talking here)
~Achievement
~Obligation
~Ring-Ring
~Andha Kuaa(Don't blame me for this...)
~Mera Badla
... all said and done we resign to the fact ```pple will get engaged...will continue to call yu like this...Can we change it...Answer is no...Kyunki hume kya karna hai...Engaged huye to theek nahi to calls receive karte rahenge...```

Ha Basanti... tumhara naam kya hai!?...
What's in a name? that which we call a rose By any other name would smell as sweet - Shakespeare
An interesting line - Juliet asks Romeo to change his name his identity just so that he does not have to face wrath of her father... She offers him a soft fragrant and red understanding of the same... by mentioning to him that if we call a rose by any other name it will not change the construct or characteristics of it... and will continue to smell sweet...
And Romeo in response says I take thee at thy word:Call me but love, and I'll be new baptiz'd;Henceforth I never will be Romeo...
Arey ye baat bhi maan gaya ... apna naam change karne ko bhi tayaar ho gaya... Definitely love has its own charm and magnetism, that it can induce you into doing the unthinkable, undoable or may be sometimes unreasonable...But who takes this call of what is fair and what isn't... Reminds me of two things after i have manged to write all this :
1 - o pappe pyar karke pachtayaa from Pyaar ke side effects - Lyrics http://www.lyricsdrive.com/pyar-karke-lyrics-lab-janjuaa.html (audio/video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKgmxR2lcHE )
2 - my friend's FB status - Love... It's the easiest way to lose your license to flirt ;) ;) ;)
Well well this is not a write-up on why one should not love or stay away from it... Anyways another thing if yu are still guessing why did i name this write - up with a dialogue from Sholay... Here's what struck me!
As a novice blogger i started my blog and named it 'detachedattachment'...Then shared the same wid a few friends who would atleast not discourage me from going ahead with this idea...
and also as a side-kick put it as my status msg on gtalk... Random friends(read college classmates) started askin why did i name my blog detached Attachment... interestingly they still remember my fascination with this terminology as taught to us as a concept in 'ethics' and 'Indian Mgmt thoughts and practices' subjects... and it was quite a striking thing as many of my friends(real ones) too resounded what these people felt...
Well wen i think of this - i could have shunned them off by saying meri marzi-kuch bhi naam rakhu; what goes your fathers... But hey thats not the point... thngs cant just come out randomly from our so called grey cells...
Probably i like the concept(though i have tried and failed multiple times to implement the same in life)...
or may be just wann jargonify my lingo to show my presence in a group...
Or even i dont kno what i am thinking about it...
Or i can even resign to the statement what Shakespeare said about the Rose...(I could have named it 'Notetoself' )

Shree Ganesh kiya jaye... HOLIday se!
always wondered whether a blog is a note to your inner self to whom we want to say what we feel and our inner voice falls short OR to the world whom we want to reach out but don't seem to... i dnt seem to have a pointed answer to this, but know for sure that somethings are better if left unanswered...
Exactly the point is that चलो आज से ब्लॉग करते हैं... तो सोचा श्री गणेश किया जाए होली के शुभ अवसर पर!
Anything without an intent or purpose looses its importance and hence is rendered frivolous. So keeping in mind this thought i want to state to my ownself the objective of this blog...
1. It is a clear NOTE TO SELF
2. And if i get time to come out of the 1st objective; will blog anything random what pleases to my thought construct...
To on this auspicious day i attempt an effort towards my ownself keeping in mind that - in the long term everybody is dead...So njoy this moment but continuously audit your actions with the values and scruples ingrained in all us...
always think blog karke kiska fayda hua hai... fir bhi aaj special effort lekar likh raha hu... Kuch to strange hai but never the less...
All for the good...and good for all
